Broomhill Hyndland Parish Church, Glasgow
Hours: 15 hours per Week
Salary is based on the scale £29500 pro rata. Initially £11700 per annum

We have an exciting new job opportunity. We are seeking a part-time Youth and Family Development Worker to support young people and their families, encouraging them to connect, and stay connected with our church community.

This post is for a 4-year period, initially part-time but with a view to increasing the hours per week where appropriate. The nature of the work will require some weekend and evening work.

The ideal candidate will:

•Have experience of working with young people

•Be an experienced communicator in differing situations

•Be self-motivated and passionate about working with young people and their families

•Be able to work with a wide range of volunteers and form lasting connections and build community engagement

•Have self-confidence and enthusiasm

•Forward thinking and eager

Applicants must have a live Church connection. The post holder will be subject to necessary membership of the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme.
