The Guild
Meets: Mondays at 2:00 PM (Fortnightly) (Naseby Halls, Randolph Road)
The Guild is a well-established and vibrant part of church life, providing a space for fellowship, faith, and service. Meeting on Monday afternoons at 2:00 PM, our Guild is part of a wider movement within the Church of Scotland, which has been bringing people together for over 135 years. With a motto of “Whose we are and whom we serve” (Acts 27:23), the Guild encourages its members to grow spiritually, engage in meaningful discussion, and work towards positive change in their communities and beyond.
Our meetings include a variety of activities, from worship and Bible study to guest speakers, musical afternoons, and social events. The Guild is also involved in supporting the Church of Scotland’s national Guild projects, which focus on charitable and mission work both in Scotland and overseas. Through these projects, Guild members contribute to causes that promote justice, equality, and compassion, helping to make a difference in people’s lives.
While the Guild has traditionally been seen as a women’s organisation, it is open to all, and we welcome anyone who shares our values and interests. Whether you’re looking for friendship, a deeper understanding of faith, or a way to give back to the community, the Guild is a wonderful place to belong. Come along and be part of this inspiring movement—we’d love to welcome you.
